What do I do if my bag arrives damaged at baggage claim?

CALPAK products are designed and tested to withstand normal use, including regular handling by airlines. However, if a bag is damaged due to rough handling by the airline while in transport, the airline is required to handle the damage claim.

File a claim with your airline immediately. Each airline has different requirements for filing a claim- some require that a claim is filed before leaving the premises. Many also have a limited 24 hour claim window, so acting fast gives you the best chance of resolution for your claim.
